We are proud to be a local, family-owned and operated company with over 60 years’ experience in manufacturing. Located in Victoria on Vancouver Island, FS Millworks is one of the largest producers of industry standard and custom hardwood – softwood mouldings in British Columbia. For over 30 years we have been selected as a preferred supplier for many prestigious building projects in Western Canada. With over 9,000 profiles in our catalogue, we offer unparalleled selection. We specialize in Mixed Grain and Vertical Grain Fir mouldings, flooring and flat stock, as well as a selection of in stock ready to ship items. Along with a custom knife program, we can create any unique design.

George and Suzette Linger and their family have been in the building supply industry since 1965. After selling their business in Alberta, they moved to Vancouver Island in the mid 1990’s. They purchased The Finishing Store in Victoria in 1996 and in Nanaimo in 1999. In 1997, they added milling facilities that helped offer customized products specific to the market in Western Canada. The Finishing Store & Millworks is proud to operate FS Millworks as a FSC certified mill, practicing green initiatives and waste management in Victoria.
