Mouldings - Primed

Primed mouldings are typically made from Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF) and or Finger-jointed Pine and have the primer base coat already applied.

Medium Density Fibreboard (MDF)

• Made from a combination of wood fibers, resin and wax, MDF mouldings offer a cost-effective alternative to solid wood.
• An engineered product, these mouldings are often available in long lengths.
• The smooth surface finish with primer allows for ease of painting with great results.

Finger-joint Pine (FJP)

• Made up of small pieces of solid pine, FJP offers a solid wood product with a cost that fits between MDF and Solid wood.
• Light yet rigid enough for easy installation, FJP holds nails well, and has superior longevity over MDF.
• Pre-primed and ready to paint, FJP mouldings are also less abrasive on tools and blades than MDF products.
